Instrumental & Musicianship Instruction
In addition to saxophone, instruction may include broader musical development and support for other instruments.

Music Production & Ableton Live
Students interested in modern music creation can also explore music production and recording techniques.
Topics may include:
• introduction to music production
• recording fundamentals
• basic mixing concepts
• creative workflow in Ableton Live
• producing and developing original music

About the Instructor
Sean Cookus is a saxophonist, educator, and creative media producer based in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He serves as Adjunct Saxophone Instructor at Shepherd University, where he teaches collegiate saxophone students and offers private instruction to members of the community.
His teaching approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, creative exploration, and helping students grow as confident musicians.
